The CRC 614 is organizing the 1st Joint Symposium on System-Integrated Intelligence: New Challenges for Product and Production Engineering together with the research programs CRC 637: “Autonomous Cooperating Logistic Processes – A Paradigm Shift and its Limitations”,University of Bremen and CRC 653: “Gentelligent Components in Their Lifecycle – Utilization of Inheritable Component Information in Product Engineering”, Leibniz Universität Hannover. Each CRC is funded by the German Research Foundation DFG and follows an individual core research area which together provide the platform for this international event.
The Symposium provides a forum for academia and industrialists to disseminate their latest innovations and practices. It focuses on the integration of functions into systems, parts or products which will enable future technologies with enhanced capabilities. The development of new sensor technologies, self-optimizing systems, sensorial materials and self-controlled processes for production or logistic applications are within the scope of the Symposium. The conference addresses research in logistics and product engineering from a wide range of fields, e.g. computer science and operations research.
Full Paper can be submitted until February 17th, 2012.
